1. WORKFLOW 

Customers are usually slower to push go on projects at the start of the year. Projects will probably be delayed too. 

2. CASH FLOW 

With many still in holiday mode, you can bet customers will take longer to pay their invoices. If you’re not on top of this, your cash flow could take a hit. 

3. PROFIT 

You still have to pay your workers, even when they’re away on break. Making profit on every job is going to be more challenging with the same fixed costs, but less workers to cover those costs. 

4. TEAM 

To start the year off well, you want to find top tradesmen to join your team... but so do all your competitors. If you don’t want to miss out, you need to front-foot it and put out the right message.
